World breaking news! The cure for breast cancer finally ready.

Yes! Womanian is the first country ever to have find a cure for breast cancer! It is still in an early stage, but we are already sure this will be a lifechanging medicine! This medicine was what we needed! Especially in our own country because the majority of our population is female, since we have it was extremely important for us to find a cure for breast cancer.

We, journalists, had some questions about this new cure and we decided to interview pharmacist Angela Nomiri, who was involved in the research to this medicine.

· How long did you have to do research in order to find a cure for breast cancer?

It felt like forever! Scientists are trying to find medicine or cures for every human health problem in order to increase our life expectancy rate. The past three years ago we have gotten extra funding and extended our research team to save thousands of breasts.

· Who helped you fund the research?

Blair Looper, our dictator, is a breast cancer survivor and she made this research her top priority. That means she put a lot of money in this research to have a cure a soon as possible. Without the financial support of the country and the help of excellent scientist it would have been impossible to make this medicine. We also cannot forget all the women who were involved during the testing phase and helped us to try find a cure.

· When will the medicine be available on the market? How far are you from producing it?

It will be on the market soon, but it will only be available if you have a doctor’s prescription. Due to the fact that this medicine is fairly new, there may be some rare side-effects we haven’t been confronted with. I think we need another 3 months before producing it, because the testing phase is incredibly important! We would not want this medicine to have long term side-effects and to prevent that we need a lot of human testing.

· Are there any risks involved taking the medicine?

Yes, there are always risks when taking medicine! That is why we need some extra time, to make sure that the risks are as low as possible. We will also only prescribe the medicine to a woman if nothing else works, doing this there will be a transition phase in which there are extra check-ups for women following the new treatment. This will only happen with the consent of the patient herself.

· How much will this medicine cost?

It will be expensive, that’s for sure. There were hundreds of people working on this medicine for more than 3 years. Furthermore, the components used for making the pills are also expensive. The cure contains a lot of different pills that need to be taken at very specific hours during the entire process. The woman taking the medicine will constantly be guided and supported by a nurse. The production of the medicine will be very limited the first year, because we will give it to women who need it the most. This again to decrease the risks linked to this cure.
